Well now that school is out, I'm trying to build a portfolio so that I can make it into an art school. My hope is to somehow manage an awesome portfolio so that I can win some scholarships. My immediate dream is to get a full ride scholarship.. I plan on making a career with art, and the instruction at universities are just not on par with art colleges. Plus the connections that art colleges have are invaluable.

So Painter 12 is official out. And it might be badass. I would have been greatly annoyed if Corel didn't let it's next painter version use multi-core. In fact, I have been using painter 9.5 for awhile now, and was neglecting to upgrade purely because I was waiting for a real x64 bit version. Now that it is out, I have to try it. Plus there is some other features that I think will have really great potential. that new "real wet oil" tool has caught my attention.
